Description
:
The course syllabus covers the mandatory minimum requirements prescribed in Regulation V/2 and Section A-V/2.1 of STCW'95.

Objectives:
Trainees who successfully complete the course will be able to responsible for embarking and disembarking passengers and for the safety of passengers in emergency situations and also able to provide the best services to passengers.

Course outline
:
Crowd Management Training
o Awareness of life-saving appliance and control plans.
o Assisting passengers en-route to assembly and embarkation stations.
o Mustering procedures.

Safety Training
o Ability to communicate with passengers during an emergency
o Ability to assist passengers during an emergency
o Ability to demonstrate to passengers the use of personal lifesaving appliances.

Entry Standards:
Master, chief mates and persons assigned immediate responsibility for embarking and disembarking passengers and Chief engineer officers, second engineer officers and any other person having responsibility for embarking and disembarking passengers and also personnel providing direct service to passengers in passenger space.
