Crisis Management and
Human Behaviour Training

Description:
The course syllabus covers the mandatory minimum requirements prescribed
in Regulation V/2 and Section A-V/2.1 of STCW'95.
Objectives:
Trainees who successfully complete the course will be able to responsible
for embarking and disembarking passengers and for the safety of passengers
in emergency situations.
Course outline:
o Introduction to STCW'95
o Passenger Safety Training
o Ship design, layout, emergency plans, procedures and drills
o Optimization of Resources
o Control Responses to Emergencies
o Human Behaviour and Responses
o Establish and Maintain Effective Communication
Awareness of life-saving appliance and control plans.
o Assisting passengers en-route to assembly and embarkation stations.
o Mustering procedures.
Entry Standards:
Master, chief mates and persons assigned immediate responsibility
for embarking and disembarking passengers and Chief engineer officers,
second engineer officers and any other person having responsibility
for embarking and disembarking passengers.
Duration: 14 hours
